Comfy Ware, Ltd. Secures Significant Investment from Prominent IT PioneerSan Diego, CA – (September 2007)- Since their debut onto the juvenile products market in 2003, Comfy Ware has won praise from child development experts and media alike for their award-winning creation - the Comfy Easy PC. Using educational tools, Comfy Ware designed a specialized keyboard and software system that allows young children between the ages of 1 and 5 to safely play on an adult’s computer. The first learning aid for children as young as 12 months, Comfy Ware has entered a unique niche in the IT world. Comfy Ware’s veritable success has attracted the attention of Dov Moran – an international IT pioneer in the flash data storage market, who founded and led msystems, the pioneers and leaders in the USB flash drive market. Msystems was sold for $1.55 billion in November 2006. In 2007, Moran made a significant investment in Comfy Ware. Moran has always been interested in the idea of computer products for children, and Comfy was the perfect opportunity for him to get involved in the educational software industry. With a strong presence already established here in the United States, Comfy Ware, an Israeli-based company, plans to use the finance to increase brand awareness, develop new product lines and for further overseas expansion. "This company has something special, there's a tremendous market here and there's plenty of work to be done," said Moran. Moran made the investment together with a group he leads, which includes people working with him from his days at msystems. "I found excellent people at Comfy Ware, and I very much like the way it is being managed. I am therefore confident that together we can make the company and its products a household name in the toddlers' games world.” As for Comfy Ware, CEO Shai Shahal is gearing up for a dynamic year of growth and expansion in the months to come. “We could not be happier with Dov Moran’s decision to invest in Comfy Ware, and we are looking forward to a profitable and fruitful relationship,” said Shahal.
